How the Valentine Lip Augmentation procedure is done:
This procedure takes from 1-2 hours and is done through 2 small incisions on each side of the mouth (at the corners). The tissue of the lips is pulled upward slightly and repositioned using sutures. You are kept comfortable with anesthetic and any discomfort after the procedure is controlled with oral pain medication. Stitches are removed in one week. You may be up and about in 1-2 days following your surgery…but we want you to take it easy for at least 1 week. Patients are usually able to return to work and social activities within 1 week.
